Urinary incontinence is not a normal consequence of aging

Urinary frequency, urine leakage and the sudden, uncontrollable urge to urinate, are not a normal consequence of aging. Infection, prostate problems, an unstable or overactive bladder, and other conditions may cause urinary incontinence. Exercise, lifestyle changes and medications can help control bladder problems caused by an overactive bladder.
